Dani is one of the biggest stars of children's television in BBC history having played the lead role of CBBC’s successful The Story of Tracy Beaker and Tracy Beaker Returns. Dani was the winner of the 2010 Children's BAFTA for Best Drama, and was also nominated for her performance as Tracy Beaker in its various incarnations, with the programme attracting another nomination in the Children's Drama category at the 2011 RTS Awards. Dani was also nominated for a Welsh BAFTA for Best Actress for her performance in Tracy Beaker's Movie of Me. Dani's House, her own hit CBBC show also received a 2009 Children's BAFTA nomination. In its last series in 2011, Tracey Beaker Returns, received the highest ratings ever for the BBC channel. In 2012, it was the most requested programme on iPlayer with over 550k requests in first 3 days of transmission. Spins offs of the Tracey Beaker series were then created and still being aired in which Dani was hugely involved, were Tracey Beaker The Mum and The Beaker Girls. Also in 2012 “Dani’s Castle” was created which proved a great success with Dani having the opportunity to take on her first Producing role at the age of 24.

Born in Berkshire, England on 8th February 1989, Dani started her acting career aged six in the Pete Townshend rock musical Tommy and went on to play July in the national tour of Annie. She landed the role of Tracy Beaker at the tender age of 12, and played the character for six successful series following which she continued to make her mark on the TV in her own sitcom Dani's House.

She was one of the presenters, known as ‘packers’ in the 2006 series of the Saturday morning show, Mighty Truck of Stuff. Dani has also presented on BBC Radio 7s The Big Toe, presented CBBC and has been a guest on The Wright Stuff. One of the highlights of her career so far was performing at the Queen's 80th Birthday bash - in the reprised role of Tracy Beaker.

Early 2012 Dani joined the line up for Let's Dance for Sports Relief on BBC 1 reaching the final.
